RALA는 다양한 세포 과정(유전자 발현, 세포 이동, 증식, 종양 변형, 막 수송)에 관여하는 다기능 GTPase입니다.
GTP 의존성 분비, 세포질 분열 초기 단계, integrin 의존성 막외배출 및 성장 신호 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
또한 LPAR1 신호 조절에 관여하며, GRK2와 경쟁적으로 LPAR1에 결합하여 수용체의 신호 특성에 영향을 미칩니다.
변형된 세포의 부착 독립적 증식에 필수적입니다.
