Target Information
Anti-Rat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rat immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target molecules. Secondary antibodies enhance versatility by allowing the use of various detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and improve sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically, these antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) to achieve high specificity.
