Target Information
Fibronectin type III domain-containing protein 5 (FNDC5)는 irisin의 전구체 단백질로, FNDC5 유전자에 의해 암호화됩니다. 이 단백질은 운동 중 근육 세포에서 분비되며, 갈색 지방의 발달에 관여할 수 있습니다. 전사체 번역은 비-AUG 시작코돈에서 개시되며, 이는 다른 생물종에서 보존된 AUG 코돈 위치에 해당합니다. 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 여러 전사 변이체가 생성됩니다.
