Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Steroidogenic factor-1 (SF-1) is an orphan nuclear receptor involved in organ development and differentiation of the endocrine system. It is essential for fetal development of the hypothalamus, pituitary gland, gonads, and adrenal gland.
SF-1 promotes transcriptional activity of steroidogenic enzymes from the cytochrome P450 family and contains two activation function domains (AF1 and AF2) necessary for interaction with other nuclear receptors, coactivators, and corepressors such as SRC-1, GRIP1, CREB-binding protein (CBP), and SMRT.
