This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%) to prevent contamination.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened for optimal performance.

Target Information

CPA1 (Carboxypeptidase A1) is a 419-amino-acid secreted monomeric protein highly expressed in pancreatic tissue.
It functions as a zinc-dependent pancreatic exopeptidase, catalyzing the release of C-terminal amino acids from proteins and playing a key role in digestion and degradation.
CPA1 may also inhibit zymogen activation pathways. Abnormal CPA1 levels are associated with pancreatic cancer, indicating potential roles in tumor progression or suppression.
