For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The homeobox DNA-binding domain is a 60 amino acid motif conserved among many species and functions to bind DNA via a helix-turn-helix structure, playing a role in transcriptional regulation and gene expression control.
PRRX1 (paired related homeobox 1), also known as PRX1, PMX1, or PHOX1, is a 245 amino acid protein containing one OAR domain and one homeobox DNA-binding domain, belonging to the paired homeobox family.
Localized to the nucleus, PRRX1 acts as a transcriptional co-activator enhancing the DNA-binding activity of serum response factor (SRF), mediating SRF-dependent gene expression. It also regulates the transcriptional activities of creatine kinase-M, contributing to mesodermal muscle type formation.
PRRX1 exists as two alternatively spliced isoforms, PMX1-A and PMX1-B.
