EDD (E3 identified by Differential Display)는 T-47D 인간 유방암 세포에서 분리된 프로게스틴 조절 유전자로, Drosophila의 hyperplastic discs (hyd) 유전자의 인간 상동체로 알려져 있습니다.
EDD는 C-말단에 HECT 도메인을 포함하며, 이는 ubiquitin-protein ligase(E3 효소)로 기능합니다.
EDD는 ubiquitin과 결합하며, HECT 계열 단백질과 유사하게 E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase로 작용할 수 있습니다.
