For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD30 (Ki-1, TNF Receptor Superfamily Member 8) is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the TNF receptor superfamily.
Originally identified on Hodgkin’s and Reed-Sternberg cells, CD30 binds to CD30L (CD153) and mediates diverse effects including proliferation, activation, differentiation, and apoptosis.
It plays a key role in Hodgkin’s disease and other CD30+ lymphomas, acts as a costimulatory molecule in thymic negative selection, and is expressed on activated T and B cells.
Soluble CD30 (sCD30) serves as a marker of Th2 immune response. CD30 interacts with TRAF2 and TRAF5 to activate NF-kappaB signaling and regulate apoptosis.
Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.
CD30 expression is observed in Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Reed-Sternberg cells, Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALCL), and embryonal carcinomas.
