Lilotomab은 CD37을 표적으로 하는 생물의약품 유사체(biosimilar)입니다. CD37 유전자가 암호화하는 단백질은 transmembrane 4 superfamily (tetraspanin family)에 속하며, 네 개의 소수성 도메인을 가진 세포막 단백질입니다. 이 단백질들은 세포 발달, 활성화, 성장 및 이동 조절에 관여하는 신호 전달을 매개합니다. 또한 integrin 및 다른 transmembrane 4 superfamily 단백질과 복합체를 형성하며 T세포-B세포 상호작용에 역할을 할 수 있습니다. 다양한 전사체 변이로 인해 여러 동형 단백질이 생성됩니다.
