Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
This gene encodes a protein involved in the cellular response to cisplatin, a chemotherapeutic drug. The encoded protein contains two motifs: one found in RAD52, associated with DNA double-strand break repair and homologous recombination, and an RNA recognition motif (RRM) absent in RAD52. The RAD52 motif region may be involved in DNA binding or oligomerization. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been reported.
