Target Information
Apoptotic linked-gene-product 2 (ALG-2) interacting protein X (ALIX) is a conserved adaptor protein that is ubiquitously expressed. Originally identified for its role in apoptosis, ALIX has since been shown to participate in diverse cellular processes including endosomal sorting, endocytosis, viral budding, and actin cytoskeleton assembly.
