Target Information
Tyrosinase-Related Protein-1 (TYRP1) is a melanosomal enzyme belonging to the tyrosinase family, playing a key role in melanin biosynthesis. Mutations in TYRP1 are associated with rufous oculocutaneous albinism and oculocutaneous albinism type III.
