Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The regulator of G protein signaling (RGS) proteins are signal transduction molecules homologous to SST2 of Saccharomyces cerevisiae and EGL-10 of Caenorhabditis elegans. Multiple SST2-homologous genes exist in higher eukaryotes. RGS proteins regulate heterotrimeric G proteins by acting as GTPase activators.
Human RGS5 mRNA is abundantly expressed in heart, lung, skeletal muscle, and small intestine, and at lower levels in brain, placenta, liver, colon, and leukocytes.
