Target Information
Cardiac Troponin T는 가는 필라멘트(thin filament)에 위치한 트로포닌 복합체의 트로포미오신 결합 서브유닛으로, 세포 내 칼슘 농도 변화에 따라 근수축을 조절합니다. 이 단백질은 근육 기능과 근원섬유 형성에 필수적이며, 인간 심장에서 발달 단계에 따라 네 가지 cTnT 이소폼이 발현됩니다. 심부전 시 Cardiac Troponin T의 발현이 변화하며, 해당 단백질의 돌연변이는 가족성 비대성 심근병증과 확장성 심근병증과 관련이 있습니다. 또한 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 다양한 조직 특이적 이소폼이 생성됩니다.
