Target Information
Surfactant protein D (SP-D)는 폐 상피세포에서 합성 및 분비되는 C-type lectin 계열 단백질입니다.
SP-D는 다중 구형(head) 영역이 삼중 나선형 콜라겐 유사 구조로 연결된 형태를 가지며, 같은 그룹에는 SP-A, mannan-binding protein, conglutinin, collectin-43 등이 포함됩니다.
이들 단백질은 다양한 세포에서 발견되는 C1q receptor에 결합할 수 있으며, SP-D와 SP-A는 폐포 대식세포의 산소 라디칼 생성 촉진에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
