Target Information
FOXO4 (Forkhead box O4)는 X 염색체에 위치한 FOXO4 유전자에 의해 발현됩니다.
AFX1 또는 MLLT7(Myeloid/Lymphoid 또는 Mixed-Lineage Leukemia, Trithorax Homolog, Translocated To, 7)로도 알려져 있으며, FOXO1, FOXO3, FOXO6과 함께 O 클래스의 forkhead/winged helix 전사인자군에 속합니다.
FOXO4는 골격근과 지방 조직에서 풍부하게 발현되며, Insulin Responsive Element (IRE)에 결합하여 Insulin/IGF1 신호전달의 하위 타깃인 IGFBP1을 활성화합니다.
Akt에 의한 FOXO4의 Ser/Thr 잔기 인산화는 14-3-3 단백질과의 결합을 매개하고, FOXO4의 핵 외 이동을 유도합니다.
