Target Information
CD56 (NCAM, neural cell adhesion molecule)은 면역글로불린 계열의 막단백질로, 신경계 전반에 걸쳐 다양한 동종 및 이종 결합을 매개합니다. 이 단백질은 T 세포 및 NK 세포에서 발현되며, 세포 이동, 축삭 성장, 시냅스 가소성에 관여합니다. 다당체화(Polysialic modification)는 세포 부착 능력을 감소시킵니다. CD56은 laminin 및 integrin 등 세포외기질 성분과 상호작용하며, 신경외배엽 유래 세포주 및 종양(예: 망막모세포종, 수모세포종, 성상세포종, 신경모세포종)에서 발현됩니다. 또한 CD56은 신경내분비 종양 및 난소 과립막세포종의 고감도 표지자로 널리 사용됩니다. CD56 이상 발현은 광견병 및 blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasms와 관련이 있습니다.
