Antibody detects endogenous levels of total RHOB.
Target Information
Rho-related GTP-binding protein (RhoB) mediates apoptosis in neoplastically transformed cells after DNA damage.
It affects cell adhesion and growth factor signaling in transformed cells.
RhoB targets PKN1 to endosomes and is involved in trafficking of the EGF receptor from late endosomes to lysosomes.
It is required for stability and nuclear trafficking of AKT1/AKT, promoting endothelial cell survival during vascular development.
RhoB acts as a tumor suppressor — deletion of RhoB causes tumor formation.
