Target Information
Vesicle-associated membrane protein-associated protein B/C (VAPB) is a type IV membrane protein encoded by the VAPB gene located on human chromosome 20. It is found in plasma and intracellular vesicle membranes, existing as both homodimer and heterodimer with VAPA. VAPB interacts with VAMP1 and VAMP2 and is implicated in vesicle trafficking processes.
