Target Information
TACC1은 염색체 8p11 영역에 위치하며, 이는 유방암 샘플의 약 15%에서 증폭되어 있습니다. 염색체 8의 짧은 팔에는 FGFR1이 존재하며, 대부분의 유방암에서 발현이 증가합니다.
TACC 계열 단백질(TACC1, TACC2, TACC3)은 각각 FGFR1, FGFR2, FGFR3 유전자와 근접하게 위치하며, 세포 성장과 분화에 관련된 유사한 역할을 하는 것으로 제안됩니다.
또한 TACC1은 Drosophila의 D-TACC와 유사한 보존된 C-말단 영역을 포함하고 있으며, D-TACC는 정상적인 방추체 기능에 필수적입니다. 포유류 TACC 단백질도 중심체 및 미세소관과 유사하게 상호작용하는 것으로 보입니다.
