Target Information
This gene encodes an alpha-1,2-mannosyltransferase enzyme involved in lipid-linked oligosaccharide assembly. Mutations in this gene cause congenital disorder of glycosylation type II. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
