Target Information
GAMT는 guanidoacetate를 creatine으로 전환하는 methyltransferase로, S-adenosylmethionine을 메틸 기 공여체로 사용합니다. 이 유전자의 결함은 신경학적 증후군 및 근긴장 저하증과 관련이 있으며, 이는 creatine 결핍 및 뇌 내 guanidinoacetate 축적으로 인해 발생할 수 있습니다.
이 유전자는 두 가지 이소형을 암호화하는 전사 변이체를 가집니다.
