Target Information
MOZ (monocytic leukemia zinc finger protein)은 염색질 관련 히스톤 아세틸전이효소(HAT)로, 염색질 리모델링과 전사 조절을 담당합니다. MOZ 유전자는 급성 골수성 백혈병의 특정 아형에서 발견된 전좌로 인해 MOZ 융합 단백질을 형성하는 것으로 처음 분리되었습니다. 이러한 융합은 MOZ의 HAT 도메인과 전사 공동활성화 단백질 TIF2/GRIP1 또는 CBP의 활성화 도메인을 포함하며, 비정상적인 히스톤 아세틸화에 의한 전사 활성화를 유도합니다.
MORF(MOZ related factor)와 Tip60(TAT interacting protein 60)은 MOZ와 유사한 HAT 도메인을 공유하며, MORF는 N말단에 전사 억제 도메인, C말단에 강력한 활성화 도메인을 포함하여 전사 조절에 기여합니다. Tip60은 HIV TAT 단백질의 공동활성화 인자로 처음 확인되었으며, 핵 호르몬 수용체 공동활성화 인자로도 작용하여 안드로겐, 에스트로겐, 프로게스테론 수용체 매개 전사 활성화를 강화합니다.
