Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).

Target Information

The G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) superfamily includes 600–1,000 members and represents the largest class of molecular targets with therapeutic relevance.
GPR17 is an orphan GPCR involved in oligodendrocyte differentiation and myelination in the CNS. It is expressed in brain, kidney, heart, and umbilical vein endothelial cells.
GPR17 has dual specificity for uracil nucleotides and cysteinyl leukotrienes, signaling through G(i) and inhibiting adenylyl cyclase. It may mediate brain damage following ischemia.
