Target Information
PIM2는 BAD를 인산화하여 세포사멸 기능을 부분적으로 억제하는 프로토온코진입니다. PIM 단백질(PIM-1, PIM-2, PIM-3)은 세린/트레오닌 키나아제로 암유전자로 알려져 있습니다. PIM-2는 Pim-1과 높은 상동성을 가지며 유사한 종양유발 기능을 나타냅니다. PIM-2는 조혈 조직, 비장, 흉선, 말초 혈액 백혈구, 고환, 소장, 대장에서 풍부하게 발현됩니다. 성장 인자 결핍 시 PIM2 발현은 음성 조절되며, 특정 암에서 PIM-2 발현 증가가 관찰됩니다.
