Target Information
Acts as an actin nucleation factor, remaining associated with the slow-growing pointed end of new filaments. Involved in intracellular vesicle transport along actin fibers, linking actin cytoskeleton dynamics and intracellular transport. Required for asymmetric spindle positioning and asymmetric cell division during meiosis. Also required for normal cleavage furrow formation and polar body extrusion during female germ cell meiosis.
