Target Information
FGF19 (Fibroblast Growth Factor 19)은 인간의 FGF19 유전자에 의해 암호화되는 단백질로, FGF 패밀리에 속합니다.
FGF19 유전자는 염색체 11q13.3에 위치하며, 216개의 아미노산으로 구성된 단백질을 암호화합니다.
FGF19는 간에서 단백질 및 글리코겐 합성을 촉진하지만 지방 합성을 유도하지 않으며, 인슐린이나 Akt 단백질 키나아제의 활성에 의존하지 않고 MAPK 신호 경로를 통해 작용합니다.
마우스의 상동 단백질은 FGF15로 약 50%의 아미노산 서열 유사성을 가지며 유사한 기능을 수행합니다.
이들은 종종 FGF15/19로 함께 언급됩니다.
