Target Information

Integrin-linked kinase (ILK) is a serine/threonine protein kinase that interacts with the cytoplasmic domain of β1 integrin. It mediates signal transduction from the extracellular matrix to intracellular pathways, influencing various cellular functions. ILK contains four ankyrin-like repeats and acts as a proximal receptor kinase in integrin-mediated signaling. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified.
