Product Specific Information
This antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
JTB is required for normal cytokinesis during mitosis and plays a role in regulating cell proliferation. It may be a component of the chromosomal passenger complex (CPC), which ensures correct chromosome alignment and segregation and is essential for chromatin-induced microtubule stabilization and spindle assembly. JTB increases AURKB activity, inhibits TGFB1-induced apoptosis, and its overexpression can cause mitochondrial swelling and reduced membrane potential.
