Target Information
The Double C2 protein family includes two isoforms, alpha and beta, each containing two C2-like domains. DOC2A and DOC2B are encoded by distinct genes and should not be confused with DAB2, formerly named DOC-2. DOC2B is ubiquitously expressed and is implicated in calcium-dependent intracellular vesicle trafficking across various cell types.
