Target Information
The SH2 (Src Homology 2) domain is a structurally conserved motif containing two alpha helices and seven beta strands, found in many proteins involved in intracellular signal transduction. The SH2 domain allows proteins to bind to tyrosine-phosphorylated sites, triggering protein-protein interaction cascades that can influence gene expression and cellular function.
Shb (SH2 domain-containing adapter protein b), Shd, She, and Shf are SH2 domain-containing adapter proteins that play various cellular roles.
