Target Information
Isocitrate dehydrogenases (IDH) catalyze the oxidative decarboxylation of isocitrate to 2-oxoglutarate. These enzymes are divided into NAD(+)-dependent and NADP(+)-dependent subclasses.
IDH1 is a cytoplasmic and peroxisomal NADP(+)-dependent enzyme that plays a key role in NADPH production. It contains a PTS-1 peroxisomal targeting signal and contributes to intraperoxisomal redox reactions.
This antibody specifically recognizes IDH1 (mutant R132H).
