Target Information
Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2 (EIF-2)는 단백질 합성 초기 단계에서 GTP 및 개시 tRNA와 삼원 복합체를 형성하고 40S 리보솜 소단위에 결합하는 기능을 수행합니다. EIF-2는 α, β, γ 세 개의 서브유닛으로 구성되며, 이 항체는 β 서브유닛을 인식합니다. β 서브유닛은 GDP를 GTP로 교환하여 EIF-2 복합체를 재활용하는 역할을 합니다. 다양한 전사체 변이가 보고되어 있으며, 서로 다른 isoform을 암호화합니다.
