Target Information
cGAS (Cyclic GMP-AMP synthase)는 ATP와 GTP로부터 cyclic GMP-AMP(cGAMP)를 형성하는 뉴클레오티딜트랜스퍼레이스로, 선천면역에서 중요한 역할을 합니다.
이 효소는 GpA 단계에서 2’,5’ 인산디에스터 결합 및 ApG 단계에서 3’,5’ 인산디에스터 결합을 형성하여 c[G(2’,5’)pA(3’,5’)p] 구조의 cGAMP를 생성합니다.
cGAS는 세포질 내 DNA를 직접 결합하여 TMEM173/STING을 활성화시키고, 제1형 인터페론 생산을 유도합니다.
또한 감염 인식, 세포 스트레스 반응, DNA 손상 감지 및 세포 노화 조절에도 관여합니다.
