Target Information
CSK (C-terminal Src kinase) is a tyrosine kinase that downregulates SRC oncoprotein activity via phosphorylation of its C-terminal region. It may function as an antioncogene, regulating cell growth, differentiation, migration, and immune responses. CSK phosphorylates tyrosine residues in the C-terminal tails of Src-family kinases such as LCK, SRC, HCK, FYN, LYN, and YES1. It is ubiquitously expressed (~50 kDa) in the cytosol, with a fraction localized to lipid rafts through interaction with PAG (Csk-binding protein).
