Reproductive homeobox on X chromosome 10 (Rhox10), also known as Reproductive homeobox 10, is a nuclear protein belonging to a novel X-linked homeobox gene family. This family plays an important role during postnatal testis development and is characterized by a conserved 60-amino-acid DNA-binding homeodomain. Members of this family act as transcription factors involved in DNA-dependent transcriptional regulation, body-plan specification, pattern formation, and cell fate determination, contributing to the understanding of human reproductive system development and physiology.
