Target Information
CD15 (Lewis X, Le(x); stage specific embryonic antigen-1, SSEA-1)는 다양한 세포의 당지질, 당단백질, 프로테오글리칸에 존재하는 삼당체 결정기(3-fucosyl-N-acetyllactosamine)입니다. 주로 호중구, 비만세포, 단핵구, 대식세포, 위점막세포, 신경계 세포, 종양세포 등에서 발현됩니다. Lewis X에는 sialyl-Lewis X, sulphated Lewis X 등의 변형형이 존재합니다. Le(x) 항원의 높은 발현은 칼슘 의존적 Le(x)-Le(x) 상호작용을 통한 세포 자가응집을 유도하며, 배아 압축이나 teratocarcinoma 세포의 자가응집 과정에 관여합니다. 또한 sialyl-Le(x)와 sialyl-Le(a)는 selectin의 리간드로 작용합니다. CD15 발현은 Hodgkin’s disease 진단 확인 연구에서 널리 이용됩니다.
