Target Information
Colonic and hepatic tumor over-expressed protein (ch-TOG) belongs to the TOG/XMAP215/Dis1 family of microtubule-associated proteins, conserved across eukaryotes. It is essential for the assembly and function of meiotic and mitotic spindles during cell division and localizes to microtubule-organizing centers (MTOCs) during interphase, and to spindle poles and centrosomes during mitosis or cytokinesis.
