Target Information
CD19 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily with two Ig-like domains. It is expressed on 100% of peripheral B cells defined by kappa or lambda light chain expression. CD19 is also observed on certain myeloid leukemia cells, particularly those of monocytic lineage. It serves as a key regulator of B cell activation and proliferation, acting as a signal-amplifying coreceptor for the B cell receptor (BCR). Mutations in the CD19 gene can cause hypogammaglobulinemia, while overexpression can lead to B cell hyperactivity.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
