For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

T-cell-mediated immune responses are initiated by T lymphocytes stimulated by peptides bound to MHC molecules on antigen-presenting cells (APCs).
Activated T cells express inhibitory receptors such as PD-1 (PDCD1), which binds to ligands PDL-1 and PDL-2 to downregulate immune activation.
PD-1 signaling prevents overactivation of the immune system in the absence of danger signals. PD-1 knockout mice exhibit hyperactive immune responses and autoimmune symptoms.
Although PD-1 has a predicted molecular weight, it often migrates at a higher apparent molecular weight in SDS-PAGE.
