This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and expressed in HEK293 cells. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
The urokinase-type plasminogen activator receptor (uPAR) regulates cell-surface plasminogen activation and plays a key role in both normal and pathological processes. The human PLAUR cDNA encodes 335 amino acids, including a signal peptide and a hydrophobic C-terminal portion, producing a highly glycosylated ~50 kDa protein anchored to the plasma membrane by a GPI linkage.
PLAUR (uPAR) associates with the carbohydrate-binding domain of SELL on neutrophil membranes, mediating calcium mobilization in a SELL-dependent manner. Elevated UPAR mRNA levels correlate with the invasive potential and advanced stages of endometrial carcinomas, as well as recurrence and mortality rates, making UPAR a potential prognostic marker for advanced endometrial cancer.
