Target Information
UBE2W는 E1 복합체로부터 유비퀴틴을 받아 다른 단백질에 공유 결합시키는 역할을 하며, 단일 유비퀴틴화를 촉매합니다. 또한 STUB1/CHIP의 단일 유비퀴틴화를 매개하여 ATXN3의 결합을 유도하고, STUB1/CHIP 기질에 부착된 유비퀴틴 사슬의 길이를 제한합니다. 자외선 조사 후 FANCL E3 유비퀴틴-단백질 리가아제와 결합하여 FANCD2의 단일 유비퀴틴화를 촉매함으로써 DNA 손상 경로에서 중요한 역할을 합니다. 시험관 내에서 Lys-11 결합 다중 유비퀴틴화를 촉매하며, 활성 부위 시스테인 잔기가 없는 RING/U-box형 E3와 복합체를 형성하여 기질의 N-말단을 선호적으로 유비퀴틴화합니다.
