Target Information

DDX56 유전자는 DEAD box 단백질 패밀리에 속하는 RNA helicase를 암호화합니다. DEAD box 단백질은 Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD) 모티프를 가지며, RNA 2차 구조 변형과 관련된 다양한 세포 과정(번역 개시, 핵 및 미토콘드리아 스플라이싱, 리보솜 및 스플라이스좀 조립)에 관여합니다. 일부는 배아 발생, 정자 형성, 세포 성장과 분열에 관련되어 있다고 알려져 있습니다. 본 단백질은 폴리뉴클레오타이드 존재 시 ATPase 활성을 가지며, 핵질 내 65S 전리보솜 입자와 결합하여 60S 리보솜 소단위체 조립 과정에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다.
