Target Information
Enterovirus 71 (EV71)는 손발입병(HFMD)을 유발하는 바이러스로, 현재 치료제가 없습니다. EV71 바이러스 입자는 약 30 nm 크기의 icosahedral 구조를 가지며, VP1~VP4 네 가지 단백질 서브유닛으로 구성된 60개의 복합체를 포함합니다. VP1~VP3 서브유닛은 여러 바이러스에서 공통적으로 발견되는 베타-배럴 구조를 취합니다. EV71의 비구조 단백질 3AB는 복제 과정에서의 기능이 아직 명확히 밝혀지지 않았습니다.
