Target Information
ATP synthase is highly conserved across species including plants, fungi, bacteria, and animals. This transmembrane enzyme catalyzes the reversible conversion of ADP and phosphate to ATP, driven by proton flux across membranes during electron transfer. It comprises two main sections:
