Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
P73 (TP73) participates in the apoptotic response to DNA damage.
Isoforms containing the transactivation domain are pro-apoptotic, while isoforms lacking this domain are anti-apoptotic and can block the function of p53 and transactivating p73 isoforms.
May act as a tumor suppressor protein.
