Target Information
ATP citrate lyase는 여러 조직에서 세포질 acetyl-CoA 합성의 주효소입니다. 이 효소는 약 440,000의 상대 분자량을 가지는 동일한 서브유닛으로 구성된 사량체 형태입니다.
Citrate와 CoA로부터 acetyl-CoA와 oxaloacetate를 생성하며, 이 과정에서 ATP가 ADP와 인산으로 가수분해됩니다. 생성된 acetyl-CoA는 지방 합성 및 콜레스테롤 생합성 등 다양한 생합성 경로에 사용됩니다. 신경 조직에서는 acetylcholine 생합성에 관여할 수 있습니다. 이 유전자는 서로 다른 isoform을 암호화하는 두 가지 전사 변형체를 가집니다.
