Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
MEMO1 may control cell migration by relaying extracellular chemotactic signals to the microtubule cytoskeleton and acts as a mediator of ERBB2 signaling.
The MEMO1-RHOA-DIAPH1 signaling pathway plays a key role in ERBB2-dependent stabilization of microtubules at the cell cortex.
It regulates localization of APC and CLASP2 to the cell membrane via GSK3B activity control. Membrane-bound APC enables MACF1 localization, essential for microtubule capture and stabilization.
MEMO1 is required for breast carcinoma cell migration.
