Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
SSX2 belongs to the family of highly homologous synovial sarcoma X (SSX) breakpoint proteins, which may function as transcriptional repressors.
They can elicit spontaneous humoral and cellular immune responses in cancer patients and serve as potential targets for cancer vaccine-based immunotherapy.
SSX1, SSX2, and SSX4 genes are involved in the t(X;18) translocation commonly found in synovial sarcomas, resulting in hybrid proteins with transforming activity.
Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene.
