Target Information
14-3-3 단백질은 산성이고 수용성인 단백질군으로, 효모부터 포유류까지 아미노산 서열이 매우 보존되어 있으며 모든 진핵세포에서 발현됩니다. 포유류에서 7가지 아이소폼(beta, gamma, epsilon, eta, zeta, sigma, tau/theta)이 각각 독립적인 유전자로 암호화되어 있으며, 호모 및 헤테로 다이머 형태의 컵 모양 구조를 형성합니다. 14-3-3 단백질은 100개 이상의 결합 파트너와 상호작용하여 신호전달, 세포주기, 전사 조절, 세포 증식, 세포사멸, 이온 채널 생리 등 다양한 생물학적 과정에 관여합니다. 대부분의 14-3-3 결합은 표적 서열의 세린 또는 트레오닌 잔기의 인산화를 필요로 합니다. 이 단백질은 뇌에서 풍부하게 발현되며, 다양한 신경학적 질환 환자의 뇌척수액에서도 검출된 바 있습니다.
